SCBCCE EVENTS
The South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education is the teaching arm of the Baptist E & M Convention of South Carolina. Our goal is to teach and train parishioners for the work in the church through Christian Education. We fully support our local historically black colleges and support Pastors, Leaders, and Laypersons. We offer winter workshops, a. one-day business session, and our annual session for teaching and training God's people. We invite all churches to join us by registering with the Congress and supporting us during our events.
2026 Workshops Dates Announced!
Christian Education
This workshop seeks to educate parishioners the basic Christian Education courses designed to equip the church for future work of the church. Held in January.
VBS
The VBS Workshop is designed to give students creative ideas on conducting their own VBS in the local church. Held in February.
Church School
The Church School workshop is designed to help Church Schools in the local church increase in knowledge and teaching ideas. Held in March.
Youth & Youth Workers
The Youth & Youth Workers Workshop is designed to help Youth Workers remain innovative in retaining youth in the local church. Held in April.
One Day Session
The One-Day Session is our Annual Board Meeting and NJ Brockman Contest. Held in November.
NJ Brockman Oratorical Contest
Contest held in November for all qualified students.
