Oratorical Contests
All participants who will enter the State contest(s) should be prepared to electronically register by submitting personal data and speech information, and be prepared to report to the contest location site starting at 8:00 a.m. on the date designated for the contest's Orientation and Elimination. Contestants must report with proof of paid registration (Church and Association) and a printed copy of the Eligibility Confirmation Response Form. 2025 NJB Oratorical Contest
Dear Youth of the South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education,
As we embark on the 2024-2025 journey of faith and learning, I am thrilled to extend an invitation to each of you to participate in the NJ Brockman Oratorical Contest this November and the CO Jackson Oratorical Contest in July 2026. These events are more than just contests—they are opportunities to grow, share your faith, and inspire others as you put on the entire armor of God.
This year's emphasis, "Putting on the Entire Armor of God to REMOLD the Non-Believer into God's Glorious Kingdom through Christian Education," draws from Ephesians 6:10-18. As you prepare your speeches, reflect on how God equips us to stand strong in our faith and how you can be a vessel for transforming lives through His Word.
Congratulations to our 2024-2025 contest scholarship winners! Your dedication and hard work have brought glory to God, and we look forward to seeing even more of you step up to share your voices and your hearts this year.
